Both beaches have been in the UK’s top ten for 14 years, north beach has been awarded a Blue Flag and south beach a Resort Seaside Award. It has the second best sand for sandcastle sculpting in the UK. Bet you didn’t know that, so don’t forget to pack your bucket and spade!

Old Town – featured in the Dad’s Army Film

is in walking distance of Mont Millais and is located just off St John’s Street. Ideal for those interested in how Bridlington used to look, the old town provided a location for the ITV show “The Royal”. Enjoy the picturesque 17th century high street, full of antique shops, craft shops and charming cafes.

St Mary’s Priory Church

is almost 1,000 years old. Established in 1113 AD it is one of the leading monuments in the UK. Today it’s still used as a parish church and visitors are always welcome.

Bempton Cliffs

Bempton-Cliffs

are one of the best places in England to see, hear and smell seabirds! With over 200,000 birds in residence from April to August, you’ll see adults feeding their young and chicks making their first flights. There’s specially-created cliff top viewpoints, which are wheelchair accessible with caution taken.

Throughout the March to October breeding season, watch the 200,000 seabirds live on CCTV. View close-up images of nesting gannets, as friendly assistants guide you through the live action.

Sewerby Hall

Sewerby-Hall

is just two miles from Bridlington, in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The Grade I listed Georgian country house is set in 50 acres of landscaped gardens and attracts over 150,000 visitors a year. It houses the Museum of East Yorkshire, including a room dedicated to Amy Johnson, the pioneering English aviator. The grounds of the hall are home to a small zoo and aviary as well as an 18 hole putting range and various gardens.
